Why does a young girl
decide to be that "nice girl" to a young boy she might
meet? Why does a young boy decide to be that "nice guy"
to a young girl he might meet? If you ever asked these kinds of
questions to my friend Audrey, I do not believe that she would
ever be able to give you a straight answer. For as long as I knew
her, she never once felt comfortable expressing debatable opinions.
Please understand that as you may find me discussing many different
topics sometimes involving this friend, please understand that
I do choose to treat my memories of Audrey with great dignity
and respect as I will genuinely Love her for the rest of my life.
I would come to know Audrey at a point in my life when I had decided
to take a break in the pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts degree from
the Business College at the University of Washington.
We all have heard about guys and gals that have been "that
nice guy" or "that nice gal" to an unpopular friend.
I have been accused of being that unpopular guy who could never
take "No" for an answer from a woman with whom I had
great affections. I have created these web pages in order that
I might be able to air out and defend my actions that go back
some twenty years. Though unintentional, in my efforts to break
away from Audrey at a certain point in our friendship those many
years ago, it appears to have brought great fear into her heart
with the very thought of me and of our past relationshihp. I do
not hold any gruges from the past. These pages are meant to bring
understanding and peace of heart to anyone that should want to
read them.
I am dedicating these pages to my friend Audrey, though now married
she will continue to be remembered as my friend.
